So excited for this Womens Warrior Bowhunt Retreat! It is May 31-June 4 at Whispering Winds & The Ranch! You will be staying at Whispering Winds in Julian, Ca. This is an all inclusive trip.
You ARE required to have a bow for this retreat. We do not provide them. This retreat is designed for the ladies who are already committed to this practice and want to get ready for bow hunting and take it to the next level.
As a 501c3 it’s important for us to give back. All of your ticket prices will help support us giving tickets to Gold Star women and to combat-injured women veterans. You are supporting not just your learning but their journey’s as well. It’s going to be a very special group of women this go around!
You will need to show up with a sleeping bag or linens for your bed and a towel. That is not provided! Lodging is a shared air conditioned deluxe bunk house with all the ladies. Food is included up until Sunday morning, but if you have any food allergies please bring snacks! Black Riffle Coffee Co will be providing coffee each morning and there will be grab and go breakfasts. There also will be food vendors there selling food too.
There will be kick ass parties on Friday and Saturday nights. Dress as cowgirl cute as you want for that! The pool will be open as well so in between things we can all chill out there.
We suggest bringing 24 arrows. You are required to have your own bow and the sight dialed as good as you can get it! Having a range finder is optional (if you don’t have one we can get you a discount from vortex on one), binos (optional), good boots you will wear for hunting season, light hunting pants, range pants, a small pack preferably with a water bladder in it. We suggest layering. June is weird and can be cold and super hot.
There will be bow techs here to help you with your bow, if necessary. And, provide guidance and explanation to what is going on with your bow and how to maintain it. If you are a western, southern, or eastern hunter we will be doing training on all modules. This is not specific to western. We have a tree stand, a blind, and if you will be focusing mostly on those hunting modules we will set you up for more practice on them. Everybody will be at different levels and this program is made or be flexible to address each individuals needs as we go.
