In This class you will be learning how to make the beautiful italian potato pasta called gnocchi. We will be binding, rolling and cutting the dough. Poaching and pan frying the dough. To compliment the gnocchi I will also be teaching you how to make a variation of pesto to toss our gnocchi with and enjoy as a class and more to take home! Bring a Tupperware to bring your gnocchi home and your pesto!
Options include sun dried tomato pesto, traditional basil pesto and the option of red pepper cream sauce.
Things to know:
Chef Kaci will buy the gnocchi paddles and the gnocchi dough, that will be provided!
- You can bring your choice of either basil, marinated sun-dried tomatoes ( for a pesto or roasted red bell peppers for a cream sauce.)
- A small carton or bottle of heavy cream.
- A container to bring home gnocchi in.
We will start at 10 am and approximately be done around 2. Bring any snacks or lunch with you!
